High Art Fridays “art cap exchange project”

Chaewon cap_edited-1I am pleased to have this opportunity to share with you this exciting Global Art Cap Project which I have initiated via High Art Fridays. I manufactured this cap design with a shorten bill and open weave straw, to make this the perfect medium for embellishment. From several of the samples I have included here, one can easily embellish these caps with 2 dimensional or 3 dimensional forms, making it a grand display of wearable art for the head. The project via HAF is only a few months old, and we have gotten very interesting concepts from HAF members from around the globe.
I like to think of the cap surface as a canvas; artists can embellish the front panel or the entire crown. Total Artistic freedom with the project, open to a variety of mediums: ceramic, leather, fabric, paper, straw, glass, wire, metal, etc. HAF Art Cap Exchange

First I just want to say thank you for taking part in HAF’s first Art Cap Exchange Project. This is a global project, inviting all HAF Artists to get involved.

I will send you a blank cap with your color choice of tan, brown, blue, black, or green. Shipping is 8.00 within the USA continent; the cap is free. International Artists are asked to be invoiced for 15.00 to cover the high shipping on international orders. Once invoice is paid, I will ship your hat to you.

Once your hat is returned to me (at your cost) I will embellish another cap and ship to you (at my cost). Any questions, please feel free to ask; this is a new HAF project.
