Mad Hatter Top Hat

Description

This is my popular version of the Mad Hatter Hat Johnny Depp wore in Alice in Wonderland. My hat is completely handmade with a buckram frame then covered in two layers of fabric. The outer layer is a black Lace material. The hat is complete with all the accessories that Johnny wore in Alice in Wonder Land. Long 21 inch red satin head band. The hat is custom made to your specific head size. Hat is 9 inches in height.  This hat in the photo is not the actual hat.  But your hat will be constructed exactly like this one.  The 3 hat pins will very in style, depending on my pin inventory.  Everything else, a mirror reproduction.

1. Using a tape measure made of plastic or cloth, measure circumference of head just above top of ears and just above the brow. Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the little bone in the middle of the back of your head).

2. Place the tape measure at the top center of your head and measure the distance to where you want the brim to place. This will give the crown depth. It is important that you provide these two measurements to get a perfect fit. Remember; please include your hair in both measurements. Don’t pull the tape too tightly; let it sit comfortably, i.e. how you’d like the hat to fit.
