Description
This is the baby version of the popular NUDU hat. This hat made it’s FOX “Bones” debut in 2011 alone side Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. This hat is designed and sized for an infant new born to 1 years old.
This hat comes in six color varieties: white, black, muted green, brown, grey, muted blue, and muted pink. We can send color samples upon your request. We begin with perforating small holes in one of our six paneled leather beanie type hat. I take 100% merino wool felt in the color of your choice. There are roughly 60 individual 1.5 to 2 inch locs in each panel; there are approximately 360 locs throughout the entire cap. We weave each loc into the holes, securing with heavy thread. This baby is constructed!!! The hat is completely lined with an eclectic 100% Cotton Designer Fabric. There is a 1 inch leather band around the edge of the hat.
How to measure your baby’s head:
most babies head size range from 14 inch circumference/ 4 inch crown depth for a newborn; 16 inch circumference/ 4.5 inch crown depth for 6 months; 18 inch circumference/ 5 inch crown depth for 1 year; 20 inch circumference/ 5 inch crown depth for early toddler.
1. Using a tape measure made of plastic or cloth, measure circumference of head just above top of ears and just above the brow. Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the little bone in the middle of the back of your head).
2. Place the tape measure at the top center of your head and measure the distance to where you want the brim to place. This will give the crown depth. It is important that you provide these two measurements to get a perfect fit. Remember; please include your hair in both measurements. Don’t pull the tape too tightly; let it sit comfortably, i.e. how you’d like the hat to fit.
